DAUGHTERS OF THE PIONEERS of Washington will meet Thu., Sept. 10, 11:30 a.m. potluck lunch, 12:30 p.m. meeting, at the Clark County Historical Museum, 1511 Main St., Vancouver. THE CLARK COUNTY Solid Waste Advisory Commission will meet Thu., Sept. 3, 6-8 p.m., at the Elections Building Conference Room, 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver. DANCE CLASSES: Classes start Sept. 14 and meet on Mondays at the Lewisville Gym, classes are 45 minutes and cost $54. Options include Preschool Dance, Beginning Ballet and Tap, Intermediate Ballet and Tap, and Teen and Adult Tap. Irish Dance for ages 6-12 starts Sept. 16 at Captain Strong and meets on Wednesdays from 5-6 p.m., cost is $42. STUNT AND CONDITIONING: Ages 10-14 learn basic to elite stunting for cheer. Develop core skills to strengthen and tone. Learn the fundamentals of stunting and jumps to excel in the activity of cheerleading. Program meets on Mondays at the Lewisville Gym from 7-8 p.m., starting Sept. 14, cost is $25. GLUTES, CARDIO and More/Zumba Toning: Adult fitness classes are at Tukes Middle School Gym. Glutes class starts Sept. 14 and meets on Mondays from 6:30-7:45 p.m., six sessions, cost is $52. Focuses on strengthening and toning the upper/ lower body and abdominal muscles. This is a complete body workout. Zumba Toning combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves. Class meets on Wednesdays starting Sept. 16 from 6:30-7:30 p.m., cost is $48. Education

FIRST AID AND CPR TRAINING: The goal of this training is to help students gain the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to manage a medical emergency until more advanced help is available. This course will cover adult/child/infant CPR, AED and Basic Emergency First Aid, such as choking, control of bleeding, and managing shock. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certification card that is valid for two years. Class is Sept. 17 from 6-9 p.m. on the Lewisville Campus, cost is $49, ask about group discount rates. SECOND FRIDAY OPEN MIC Music Night will be Fri., Sept. 11, 6 p.m. performer sign ups, 7 p.m. music starts, at the Historic Yacolt Community Church, 203 S. Ranck Ave., Yacolt.
