Gary James Wartella, 71, died July 23, 2011, in Vancouver. He was born May 25, 1940, in Detroit, MI.
Wartella was a resident of Vancouver for the past 18 years and was a resident of Camas for 12 years. He is survived by his wife, Frances Wartella at home; sons, Bill Wartella of Missouri and Gary J. Wartella II, who is currently serving in the U.S. Army in Korea; daughters, Diana Logan of North Carolina and Julie Kemp of Auburn; brother, Tom Wartella of Amboy; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Brown’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Camas handled arrangements. A graveside service with full Military honors was held Thurs., Aug. 4, at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
