Junebug Play & Learning Space, an indoor children’s play space in Ridgefield, will host its grand opening celebration from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, at 10 S. 65th Ave., Suite 106.

The play space provides a year-round space for children’s education and play, intended for those ages 6 months to 6 years, according to Junebug Play & Learning Space’s website.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce will kick off the event. Additional festivities will be available after the ceremony, such as a visit from Rally of the Ridgefield Raptors and a fire engine from Clark-Cowlitz Fire & Rescue, a magic show, facility tours and more, according to a press release.

“As a resident of Ridgefield myself, I’m thrilled and honored to contribute to the incredible

community here,” business owner Justina Kitteridge said in the press release. “My goal with Junebug [Play & Learning Space] is to create a community-centered space that caters to both children and caregivers with equal care and intention.”

Junebug Play & Learning Space will also offer rental space for birthday parties, baby showers and other events.
