The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has asked for the public’s help as they work to locate a missing and endangered man from Woodland.

Ismael Magana, 68, left Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11 while still receiving medical treatment, stated a news release.

Deputies searched the area around the hospital that evening after Magana’s phone indicated he may be in the area, but it is now believed he may have lost his phone shortly after leaving the hospital.

Magana was reportedly seen at the Shell Station at the junction of La Center and Interstate 5 around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The release stated he may have been looking for a ride back to his residence in Woodland but he has not been seen or heard from since.

The family stated Magana is diabetic. He could be confused and primarily speaks Spanish, although he can speak English.

Magana is described as a Hispanic male who is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has brown eyes and is balding with shorter, graying hair.

He was last seen wearing a khaki jacket with blue jeans and tennis shoes.
