The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is taking applications for one retail fireworks permit.

The permit will be assigned by a lottery, which will be held on Monday, March 27, according to a news release from the county.

All lottery permit applications must be received at the Fire Marshal’s Office no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, March 24.

Applications for the permit lottery can be obtained on the county website at clark.wa.gov/code-administration/fire-forms-and-fees. The application can be mailed to the Fire Marshal’s Office, at 505 NW 179th St., Ridgefield, faxed to 564-397-2076 or emailed to firemar@clark.wa.gov. Applications postmarked on March 24 will not qualify.
