Ridgefield swimmers Rebecca Yamada and Medea Rusu earned runner-up finishes in the 2A girls swimming state meet on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Yamada swam for second place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1 minute, 9.81 seconds, while Rusu finished runner up in the 100-yard backstroke, 1:02.36. Rusu added a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, 2:04.72.
For Hockinson, Paige Dangleis ended her high school career with a third-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley, 2:11.45, and a fourth place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, 54.11.
