Battle Ground Police Department seeks help identifying man wanted for assault at Chipotle

The Battle Ground Police Department has asked the public for assistance in identifying a man who allegedly assaulted a restaurant employee at Chipotle on Southwest Scotton Way on Thursday, Feb. 9. 

Officers were dispatched to the restaurant at approximately 7:40 p.m. Initial reports indicate the staff at Chipotle asked the suspect to leave after he caused a disturbance, stated a news release from the City of Battle Ground. 



Afterwards, the suspect allegedly assaulted one of the restaurant's employees before bystanders intervened, stated the release. The suspect, who is described as an African American man who is approximately 6 feet tall and 220 pounds with a goatee-style beard, then fled the scene in a white, midsize SUV, which is similar to an Infiniti model.
