Community members are invited to attend presentations about Battle Ground Public School’s (BGPS) educational programs and operations (EP&O) levy, which will appear on the Feb. 11, 2025, special election ballot.
The EP&O levy would replace the expiring EP&O levy, which ends in December 2025, a press release by BGPS stated.
The replacement levy would fund student safety, faculty, nursing, mental health support, special education, sports and more, the press release stated.
Meetings will be held at the following times and locations:
- 5:30-6:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 6, River HomeLink, 610 SW Eaton Blvd., Battle Ground
- 5-6 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7, Tukes Valley Primary School, 20601 NE 167th Ave., Battle Ground
- 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8, Prairie High School, 11311 NE 119th St., Vancouver
- 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, Laurin Middle School, 13601 NE 97th Ave., Vancouver
- 6:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, Daybreak campus, 1900 NW 20th Ave., Battle Ground.
- 7-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, Pleasant Valley campus, 14320 NE 50th Ave., Vancouver.
- 5-6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 16, Yacolt Primary School, 406 W. Yacolt Road, Yacolt.
- 6:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 16, Chief Umtuch Middle School, 700 NW Ninth St., Battle Ground
- 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 21, Battle Ground High School, 300 W. Main St., Battle Ground
- 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, Lewisville campus, 406 NW Fifth Ave., Battle Ground
Families requiring Russian or Spanish interpretation may attend the Lewisville Campus meeting, the release stated.
