Election officials with Clark County will perform a hand count of approximately 600 randomly selected ballots on Wednesday, April 27 as part of a manual comparison against machine results.

During the comparison, officials will hand count ballots for the Evergreen School District measure in order to check the accuracy of the ballot tabulation equipment, stated a news release.

The count will begin at 9 a.m. on April 27.

Ballots for the special election were due by 8 p.m. on April 26.

The only measure in North Clark County included a $62.6 million bond measure for the Ridgefield School District.

Special election results will be featured in the May 4 edition of The Reflector. To view the results on election night, go online to thereflector.com or to the county’s election website at clark.wa.gov/elections.
