Clark County Event Center: 4 to 11 p.m. from Wednesday, Aug. 11 to Friday, Aug. 13 and noon to 11 p.m., Aug. 14-15 at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, 17402 NE Delfel Road, Ridgefield. The Family Fun Series presents a carnival with 29 fan-favorite rides. Attendees can purchase wristbands for $35 on-site or $1 ride coupons. Parking will cost $6 per vehicle. Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries: 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11 via online meeting. The “A Will is Not Enough” workshop will provide advice on how to safeguard assets and health care wishes during and after your lifetime. Ridgefield Lions Club Sausage Fest: 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at Abrams Park, 501 Division St., Ridgefield. The Ridgefield Sausage Fest will include live music, activities for kids, games and a family-friendly beer garden. Ridgefield High School Class of 1990 Reunion: 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 13 at the Sportsman’s Pub, 121 N. Main Ave., Ridgefield and 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14 at Garold Cate’s property, 4501 NW 188th St. The class of 1990 will meet for a class reunion, some laughs and good food. Plus ones are welcome. North Clark Historical Museum Exhibit: Noon to 4 p.m. from Saturday, Aug. 14 to Aug. 28 at 21416 NE 399th St., Amboy. An exhibit will feature the forest fire lookouts in Skamania County that were built on top of high mountain peaks and manned by individuals to look for signs of forest fires. NCHM is looking for more stories, information and photos to expand the exhibit in August and September 2022. Admission is free and donations are welcome.

Hockinson School District: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 in the front parking lot of the Hockinson Community Center, 17912 NE 159th St., Brush Prairie. Check out local crafts, fresh items and novelties at the Hockinson Saturday Market every second Saturday of the month. The market is hosted by the Hockinson Community Education Department. Ridgefield Farm to Table Event: 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21 at Overlook Park, 113-131 S. Main Ave., Ridgefield. The annual Farm to Table event is back with outdoor dining, live music, dancing and local alcoholic beverages. Welcome Mr. Duggins Home: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23 at the Hockinson Community Center, 17912 NE 159th St., Brush Prairie. Jeremy Duggins, a local teacher, biked the west coast for suicide awareness. Community members are encouraged to attend the event to show appreciation for Duggins “who is making a difference in this world.”

Clark County Commission on Aging: 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26 at clark.wa.gov/aging. The council is looking for nominations for their Silver Citizen Award. The award recognizes contributions older adults have made to the community. Nominations are open for anyone 65 years or older, who are living in Clark County. A couple may receive the award together if both have been involved in community service. To nominate a senior, visit clark.wa.gov/aging.

Battle Ground Art Alliance: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at Kiwanis Park, 422 SW Second Ave, Battle Ground. The art alliance will host an outdoor art sale. No kits or mass-produced items will be allowed and the alliance asks for entries to be family-friendly. Member vendors can pay $40 for a 10-by-10 foot space, $50 for non-members and $10 per person for a group tent. Vendors must contact the BGAA by Aug. 15. Those interested can visit bgar

La Center City Council: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11 in the council chambers at La Center City Hall, 214 E. Fourth St., La Center. Veterans of Foreign Wars: 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at 434 Davidson Ave., Woodland. Come grab a hot breakfast to benefit the Woodland VFW group. The fundraiser is held every second Saturday of the month.
