The Manufacturing Workforce Summit will be held at the IT3 Tech Center at 5645 S. 11th St., Suite A104, in Ridgefield. From 3:30 to 3:50 p.m., there will be a Cowlitz Tribal blessing and ribbon-cutting event for the grand opening of IT3, a new workforce training center focused on filling advanced manufacturing technology jobs in Washington state. From 4 to 4:15 p.m., the event will welcome IT3, which is then followed by a “state of the workforce” presentation from 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. From 4:35 to 5:15 p.m., there will be a panel discussion on the manufacturing workforce. La Center kindergarten registration: Kindergarten registration in La Center for the upcoming school year will open April 10. Children must turn 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, to enter kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year.
