Used book sale: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. Join the Battle Ground Community Library for a “Hallway Sale” that will feature fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books for sale. Hardbacks are $1 and pocketbooks are 50 cents. Proceeds will benefit library programs for all ages. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Battle Ground Library. Ridgefield High School Golden Grads Social: 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 15. The Ridgefield High School classes of 1967, 1969 and 1970 will host a Sunday social, which raises funds for scholarships for the class of 2022. Pig Jam: 5 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10. Join the Battle Ground community for a Pig Jam, which will serve a large, roasted barbecue pig while an AC/DC tribute band plays. Food is $24, and includes three different plates, each with a quarter pound of meat and a side. Attendees can listen to the band’s performance for free.
