Give More 24!: Thursday, Sept. 23. The 24-hour online giving marathon raises money for area nonprofits. This year, 200 nonprofits will participate in the event through the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington, with the goal of raising $3.2 million. Anniversary celebration of Amboy church: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Amboy United Brethren Church building, 21416 NE 399th St., Amboy. North Clark Historical Museum will celebrate the 111th anniversary of the church with an open house, tours, exhibits, and a short program at 2 p.m. There will also be outdoor activities, pie and ice cream. Quilt raffle tickets for the “Prairie Sampler” quilt made by the Chelatchie Quilters will be available and a reprint of the mid-century UB Ladies Aide Cookbook will be available for purchase. This is the museum’s annual fundraiser. Masks will be required inside the building. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. The 47th Great Train Swap Meet: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Battle Ground High School gym, 300 W. Main St., Battle Ground. The event is hosted by the Southwest Washington Model Railroaders. The event features model trains and material in all scales, as well as train collectibles and memorabilia. Admission is $10 at 9 a.m., $5 for adults at 9:30 a.m., $3 for students and those under the age of 6 are free if they are accompanied by an adult.
Outdoor discovery camp: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 at Camp Hope of Southwest Washington, 12800 NE Roper Road, Battle Ground. Open to kids between the ages of 10-17. Cost is $40 per camper, or $30 for a family. Scholarships are available. Register online at camphope-wa.org.

Pumpkin Lane at Pomeroy Farm: Every weekend in October at Pomeroy Farm, 20902 NE Lucia Falls Road, Yacolt. Take a trip down Pumpkin Lane to see pumpkin people vignettes, visit the farm animals and pick pumpkins.
Perennial, bulb and seed swap: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Wildlife Botanical Gardens, 11000 NE 149th St., Brush Prairie. The fifth annual event hosted by NatureScaping and WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners encourages participants to gather excess potted plants, as well as extra seeds and bulbs to bring to the event. Perennials and bulbs should be potted or be in sturdy plastic bags, and fresh collected seeds need to be in individual envelopes or in baggies organized by variety. Viable store bought seed packets are also welcome. People should label items as best as possible with the botanical or common name, size, bloom time, plant height and information including whether the plants like sun or shade, or wet or dry climates. All plants should be well watered and pest free. Invasive plants are not allowed. Participants should bring cardboard boxes, flats or grocery bags to take plants home.
