Gonzalo Bergara Quartet: Doors open at 6:45 p.m., event begins at 7:30 p.m on Wednesday, Sept. 28. Join the Ridgefield community as the Old Liberty Theater holds a concert for the Gonzalo Bergara Quartet, which recreates music from the 1930s. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at oldlibertytheater.com. The Old Liberty Theater is located at 115 N. Main Ave., Ridgefield. 

Northwood Oktoberfest: 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 and Sunday, Oct. 2. Join Northwood Public House as they host its annual Oktoberfest. There will be a coloring contest and balloon art for kids. Adults can also partake in the Strong Arm Stein Holding Competitions. There will be Bavarian food and beer, as well as live music. It will be held at 1401 SE Rasmussen Blvd., Battle Ground. Lewis River Rotary: 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4. Join the Lewis River Rotary Club as they host the program, “Afghan Refugee Resettlement Program” with Nikki Chung, a volunteer coordinator of Lutheran Community Services Northwest. Perennial, bulb and seed swap: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. Join Clark County Master Gardeners as they hold their sixth annual perennial, bulb and seed swap, which includes a plant sale and variety of seeds to choose from. Those who bring items to trade are expected to label their items clearly. Plants should also be well watered and pest free. Battle Ground senior luncheon: Doors open at 11 a.m., general meeting at 11:30 a.m., lunch served at noon on Monday, Oct. 10. Join the Battle Ground seniors for their monthly luncheon. Lunch will be provided by Prairie Tavern, Nick Jolma and Corwin Beverage. A donation of $5 is suggested, but not required. The event will be held at the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Soil workshop: 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11. Join James Cassidy, a soil science instructor at Oregon State University, as he gives the presentation: “Soil! QuiltFest Northwest: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 through Saturday, Oct. 22. Join Clark County Quilters for the 47th annual Regional Quilt and Fiber Arts Show. It will have a “Sunshine & Roses” themed show which will feature over 300 quilts along with special exhibits and events, challenge quilts, a vendor mall, the “Diana” Cherrywood traveling exhibit, the Fort Vancouver Tapestry, and more. It will cost $8 per day or $15 for a three-day pass. Tickets for children under 12 are free and parking is $6 with cash or card. Phantom of the Opera screening: 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30. Join the Battle Ground Public Schools district as they screen the 1925 classic horror movie, “Phantom of the Opera,” with choral accompaniment sung by the Vancouver Master Chorale and orchestra. The program also includes “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” and the song “The Monster Mash” with students from Battle Ground and Prairie high schools. Tickets are $25 and are available online at vancouvermasterchorale.org. Tickets are free for kids 16 and under. It will be held at Battle Ground High School, 300 W. Main St., Battle Ground.

Creative cardmaking class: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Join senior citizens from Battle Ground as they make homemade greeting cards. Bliss Yoga (Lewisville): 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Tukes Valley school stage, Mondays from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lewisville Campus gymnasium stage area, 406 NW Fifth Ave., Battle Ground.
