The county is seeking a representative for the Community Action Advisory Board, which makes recommendations about local government funding for basic needs, self-sufficiency and housing programs.
The board is seeking a member from the fifth district, which includes Battle Ground and the surrounding areas. The position term begins immediately and ends Dec. 31, 2027, a news release by Clark County stated.
Incumbents have the opportunity for re-appointment to two additional three-year terms, the news release stated.

The application deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, the release stated.
The 15-member board meets at 9 a.m. on the first Wednesday of odd-numbered months and makes recommendations about local government funding for basic needs, self-sufficiency and housing programs. Members also advocate for services supporting low-income communities, families and people.
