Clark County is seeking volunteers to fill three expiring positions, and one vacant position, on the Development and Engineering Advisory Board. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 31.
The 10-person Development and Engineering Advisory Board works alongside the Community Development and Public Works departments to review policies and county code changes. The board also sends recommendations to the Clark County Council, a news release by Clark County stated.
The board meets at 2 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.
The board consists of three private-sector planners or engineers, one public-sector planner or engineer, one construction contractor, one land developer, one Building Industry Association representative, one commercial or industrial development professional and two professionals associated with development, the news release stated.
Applicants can submit a letter of interest and résumé to Michelle Pfenning, County Manager’s Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666. Applications can also be emailed to michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov.
