Drive-thru property tax payment kiosk will be open Oct. 28 and Oct. 31

Clark County residents will be able to drop off their tax payment at a drive-thru kiosk on the last two days of the tax season. 

The kiosk is located at the east parking structure entrance to the Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin St. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 and Monday, Oct. 31. 

The drive-thru option is for pre-written checks only, stated a news release. 

Taxpayers can also seal their check payments into an envelope and leave them in the secured drop box located on the first floor of the Public Service Center between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Those who want to pay with a credit or debit card, or from their checking or savings account, can do so online. E-checks from a savings or checking account are free, stated the release.

There’s a flat rate of $3.95 for debit card transactions and credit card transactions are assessed a 2.39% vendor fee. 



Online payments can be made at clark.wa.gov/treasurer/pay ment-options. People can also call 833-440-8685 to pay.

Tax payments can also be mailed to the Clark County Treasurer, P.O. Box 35150, Seattle, Washington, 98124-5150. Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelope and payment coupon provided with their statement to mail their payments, stated the release.

The Joint Lobby is also open to in-person services from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The lobby is located on the second floor of the Public Services Office.

Tax payments must be postmarked by Oct. 31 to avoid interest charges.
