Easter is right around the corner and many organizations are holding events across North Clark County to celebrate. They include egg hunts, activities and church services. Here is a sampling of events that are scheduled in the region.
Mountain View Easter egg hunt: 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 13. Join the Mountain View Christian Center for a free Easter egg hunt for children up to sixth grade. Ridgefield Easter egg hunt: 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16. Join the Ridgefield community for the fifth annual Easter egg hunt at Fairgrounds Community Park. All ages are welcome. There will also be games, prizes, raffles, and a fire truck for kids to take pictures with. Fairgrounds Community Park is at 216 NW 164th St. in Ridgefield. IQ Credit Easter egg hunt: 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 16. Join the Ridgefield community for IQ Credit Union’s 13th annual Easter egg hunt at Overlook Park in downtown Ridgefield. The egg hunt will start at 11 a.m. It is located at 113-131 S. Main Ave., Ridgefield.
Woodland Easter egg hunt: 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16. Join the Woodland Moose Lodge for an annual Easter egg hunt at Horseshoe Lake Park, which will include prize baskets. Children ages 11 and under are invited to participate. Horseshoe Lake Park is located at 700 Goerig St. in Woodland. Baptist Church Easter celebration: 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 16. Join the Battle Ground Baptist Church for an Easter celebration that includes an egg hunt, games, crafts, and more. The church is located at 1110 NW Sixth Ave., Battle Ground. For more information, call 360-687-7124.
Mountain Peaks Easter Photoshoot: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Join Mountain Peaks Therapy Llamas and Alpacas as they do a photoshoot with photographer Olivia Peabody. Families can walk the animals through an obstacle course and snap photos with alpacas dressed as the Easter Bunny. Each photoshoot is 20 minutes and will include up to 10 pictures. The cost is $180. Mallard Landing Easter egg hunt: 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Mallard Landing will host an Easter egg hunt for kids. Juice, cookies and photos with the Easter Bunny will be available. Easter Vigil: 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Join Sacred Heart Parish in Battle Ground as they celebrate the Lord’s resurrection at their church. Jazzercise Easter class: 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 16. Join Hockinson Jazzercise as they host a free open house Easter party class, which includes an Easter egg hunt, prizes, and snacks. Sacred Heart egg hunt: 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 17. The Knights of Columbus will host an Easter egg hunt at Sacred Heart Parish in Battle Ground for kids 12 years old and under. Easter Sunday service: 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish in Battle Ground, and from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in Yacolt. Sacred Heart Parish and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church will host a mass for the Lord’s resurrection. Sacred Heart Parish is located at 1603 N.
