People are invited to feast and fundraise at the Battle Ground Lions Club’s annual Crabaganza. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Lions Club’s community projects, such as Just One Thing Battle Ground and Northwest Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center.
“It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year,” Battle Ground Lions Club president Liz Elfring said. “100% of the donations to the BG Lions Club goes to the community.”
Along with unlimited crab, the menu will include roasted half-chickens, coleslaw, baked beans and cookies.
“It is a blast. Everybody involved, from the worker bees at the Lions Club to the people who buy tickets just have so much fun,” Elfring said.
The Crabaganza will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main St. Tickets to the fundraiser are $60 each and available through the Lions Club website, bglions.org/we-serve-fundraising-for-service/.
