Fire District 3 responds to structure fire in Brush Prairie

Clark County Fire District 3 was dispatched to a structure fire at around 2:16 a.m. on Jan. 5 in Brush Prairie.

As units were enroute, they saw “a visible fire header” from half a mile away, stated a social media post from the fire district. 

Crews arrived on scene to find a 38-foot motorhome and 28-foot travel trailer fully involved in flames.



“Offensive fire suppression tactics were quickly deployed to contain the fire to the area of origin,” stated the post. “Firefighters worked hard on scene, applying a total of 6,000 gallons of water to fully extinguish the blaze.”

No injuries resulted from the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office, stated the post.
