Hello Kitty Festival comes to Brush Prairie for 50th anniversary

In celebration of Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary, Cloverlane Mercantile and Event Center at 16391 NE 182 Ave., Brush Prairie, will host a four-day festival celebrating the iconic bow-wearing cat.

The festival will run from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, and Saturday, Oct. 12, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13. Tickets are available for purchase online at shorturl.at/hqYyL.

In addition to Hello Kitty-themed vendors, a themed cafe, carnival games and meet-and-greet with Hello Kitty will be available for attendees. Auctions will also take place throughout the event, benefiting local charities through Clark County, a press release by Cloverlane Mercantile and Event Center stated.



Hello Kitty is a Japanese character created by Sanrio. She was created in 1974 and has been featured in television shows, merchandise and video games. Her trademark accessory is her red bow, the Sanrio website stated.
