Posted

Bring the family and your furry or feathered friends for a holiday photo with Santa during the annual portrait event hosted by the Humane Society of Southwest Washington. Santa is available by appointment Saturday, Dec. 14, and Sunday, Dec. 15, at Retails Thrift Store, 5000 E. Fourth Plain Blvd, Vancouver.

Tickets are $10 per family and are available online at shorturl.at/NgDRz. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, a press release by the organization stated.

Portraits will be taken using cellphone or a person’s other device by Santa’s helper elves. Additional cameras will be onsite if no cellphone or tablet is available, and the photo may be sent to your email address, the press release stated.

Santa may take photos with your pet or the entire family. Safe-to-handle pets, such as cats, dogs, birds and more are welcome. Santa may ask owners to hold them during the portrait if a pet is difficult to handle, the press release stated.

Pets are not required to take a photo with Santa, the release stated. Individuals and families are welcome to book appointments for a Santa portrait.

Holiday shopping will be available at ReTails Thrift Store during the portrait event. The store carries gently used items, such as clothing, home goods and more. Every purchase and donation at ReTails benefits the animals of the Humane Society of Southwest Washington. For more information about the store, visit southwesthumane.org/retails.
