Adam Jeffrey (AJ "Sting") Weber, age 47, went home to be with his lord and savior on Nov. 28, 2024. Born on Feb. 21, 1977, Adam grew up in Battle Ground, Washington.

Adam was a devoted husband to Beth Rivers, a loving father to Henry Jack "Hank" (17) and Amelia "Millie" (11), a proud stepfather to Ciarnin (25) and Jane (23). He was a cherished son to Jeff and Sandy Weber and a beloved brother to Jaime (Nick) Ritter and Mandy (Sven) Massie. His nieces, nephews and large extended family will forever remember his warmth, strength and generous spirit. His fun-loving and light-hearted personality along with his infectious smile will forever be cherished.

Adam’s passion for service and helping others was evident early on when he volunteered as a firefighter from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, Adam enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served with distinction and valor in combat tours as a member of the elite First Force Reconnaissance Company. Adam exemplified bravery, discipline and excellence throughout his career, earning the respect and admiration of his comrades. Following his years of service in the military, Adam pursued a career in security, protecting his country in some of the world's most challenging environments. He dedicated his life to protecting others, embodying the values of loyalty, courage and resilience.

When Adam wasn’t away serving his country, he could be found on the water fishing or crabbing, or in the mountains hunting with his family and friends. Adam also loved working with his hands. A skilled craftsman, he loved to build and create, whether it was gardening, home improvement projects or custom pieces for his family. His passion for crafting and problem-solving brought him joy and was a testament to his creativity and hard work.

Adam’s life was a tribute to his values — faith, family and service. He will be remembered for his fierce loyalty to those he loved, his unshakeable honor in all he did, his courageous heart, and the resilience that carried him through challenges with grace and determination.

A celebration of Adam’s life will be held at Summit View Church, 7701 NE 182nd Ave., Vancouver, on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization close to Adam’s heart.

Adam’s earthly journey has ended, but his legacy of faith, love and service endures in the hearts of his family and friends. He is now at peace in the presence of his lord and savior, where his light continues to shine for eternity.
