Daniel S. Glaser, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Vancouver, Washington, on Feb. 28, 2025. Born on Sept. 27, 1934, in Glen Ullin, North Dakota, Daniel, affectionately known as Dan, later moved to Dickinson, North Dakota, where he met his beloved wife, Carrie. The couple cherished a remarkable 70-year journey together.
In 1962, Dan and Carrie relocated to Vancouver, Washington. Dan dedicated himself to a fulfilling career, initially working as a parts manager for Wolf's Supply before serving as a parts officer at Clark County Public Works, from where he retired in 1997.
Dan's personal life was enriched by his love for Carrie; his children, Bill, Ken, Joyce, and Jolynn; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also held a special place in the hearts of many dear friends.
Known for his perfect hair, charming dimples, and keen sense of humor, Dan brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his jovial spirit, love for traveling, meticulous yard work, and enthusiasm for watching sports.
A service to honor and celebrate Dan's life will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 400 S. Andresen Rd., Vancouver, WA 98661.
