Janice Marcene Christensen passed peacefully on April, 28, 2022, in Woodland, Washington, after completing 83 years full of a life to be remembered. She was born Oct. 24, 1938, to Landy and Eileen English in Fairbury, New England. Known as “the shark,” she was the first female car salesman in the Pacific Northwest and a certified auctioneer. Janice found years of professional success before spending much of her time garage saling, a hobby that brought her great joy.
Janice is survived by her four children (and their spouses) Terri Lynn, Thomas Leighton (Teresa), Tony Lamont (Cindy) and Tracy Lee; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Janice will be remembered for her free spirit, strong will and the immense love she had for her family. As a mother, grandmother and friend, Janice will live on in our hearts and memories today and always.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. May 11 at Evergreen Funeral Home.
