Lorraine Leola Northrup (Osgood), born on July 28, 1935, in Watertown, South Dakota, entered eternal rest on Jan. 29, 2025, in Battle Ground, Washington.
A devoted mother of nine children and beloved by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, Lorraine’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith, enduring love and deep commitment to family.
Her steadfast devotion to her loved ones and her abiding trust in the Lord left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Lorraine’s strength and compassion were a source of comfort and inspiration to many. Her memory will remain a guiding light for her family and friends as they reflect on the remarkable life she lived.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Michael Northrup (Tawnya), Darrel Northrup (Louisa), Glen Northrup, Joseph Northrup, Ernest Northrup Jr., Candace Van Norman (Harold) and Daniel Northrup (Crystal). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Adams, and son, Rodney Northrup.
May Lorraine find eternal peace in the presence of the Lord, and may her family take solace in knowing she is at rest. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those who were blessed to share in her life.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 14 at Layne's Funeral Home at 16 NE Clark Ave., Battle Ground, Washington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 15 at the Hockinson Apostolic Church with Pastor Phil Wilson. The church is located at 16108 NE 192nd Ave., Hockinson, Washington. Graveside services will take place at Finn Hill Cemetery (17905 NE 192nd Ave., Brush Prairie) immediately after the funeral. A lunch will be served at the church following the graveside services. All are welcome to attend.
