In loving memory of Margaret Anne Rodda: 1945-2022

Posted

Margaret Anne (Chapman) Rodda was born Oct. 29, 1945 to Kenneth and Margaret (Bramhall) Chapman and died April 11, 2022 from cancer at home surrounded by her family.

Margaret Anne was married to Stanley Rodda in 1968. They had 53 happy years together and had five children.

Margaret Anne thoroughly enjoyed her life as a wife and mother. She also had many interests and abilities. She was an avid quilter and knitter. She also enjoyed doing art when time permitted and was always the social organizer and historian for her family. Margaret Anne was very involved at Battle Ground Baptist and the quilting group there. She loved people and was a faithful, supportive friend to all in her life. She was a generous person with a loving heart. She will be sorely missed but we are grateful to know that she is with the God that she loved and served all of her life. Her faith sustained her to the end of this life and into eternity with Him.

She is survived by her sister Kathryn (Chapman) Landers, brother Charles Chapman, sister Carol Chapman, her husband Stan Rodda, children Richard, Ruth (Rodda) Duncan, Philip, Craig and Keith, and nine grandchildren who she loved and enjoyed greatly..

Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on June 4, 2022 at Battle Ground Baptist Church.
