Marie Stephenson passed away peacefully Nov. 30, 2024.
Marie was born on Nov. 8, 1934, in Ridgefield, Wa. She spent her whole life in Ridgefield where she raised her family, ran a business alongside her husband and was an active member of her church and community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Art Stephenson; her daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Mayer; and her son Doug (Teresa) Stephenson. She is survived by her sons Andy (Gwen) Stephenson and Wally (Julie) Stephenson; her eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Marie was well known for her love of church, enjoyment of watching sports, enduring spirit, quick wit and socializing with friends.
A memorial service will be held for Marie at Ridgefield Methodist Church on Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.
