In loving memory of Robert ‘Bob’ Webb: 1933-2022

Posted

Robert “Bob” Dee Webb was born on Jan. 18, 1933 in Apperson, Oklahoma to Ralph William and Frances Rousey Webb. He graduated from Ukiah High School in 1951.

In 1954, Bob married Bonnie Lucille Butler. They lived in California with their four kids until 1970 when they relocated to Woodland, Washington.

Bob worked in the plywood industry until he retired in 1999. Upon retirement, Bob and Bonnie moved to Tucson, Arizona. They returned to Woodland in 2009 to be with family and friends where they resided until their passing. In all their travels, and places they called home, Bob never met a stranger. He was a friend to everyone and had a great sense of humor.

Bob loved sports (especially the 49ers), fishing, and being with his friends and family. He never missed a birthday or major life event. He will always be remembered as a loving and supportive parent, grandparent and friend.

He was involved in Woodland Little League, and was a successful leader that everyone wanted to play for. He managed and coached three All-Star teams. In 1975, his team was two outs away from winning the state title.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Bonnie; his parents; sister; identical twin brother Rodger; his grandson Tony Webb; and his best friend and brother-in-law, Dan Pinto.

Bob is survived by his four children Sandee Girouard, Linda Olson (Clint), Mark Webb (Sherie) and Tom Webb; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his good friends and fishing buddies Sonny and Ken Huston.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
