In loving memory of Robert Lindsay

Posted

Robert (Bob) T. Lindsay passed away peacefully on Aug. 1, 2021 after a long hard fought battle with cancer.

If you look up the phrase “Jack of all trades,” you should see Bob’s name in there somewhere. Bob was an accomplished welder who could skillfully weld anything. He was a logger who helped clear the roads and timber after Mount St. Helens erupted. And he was a farmer who loved raising his cattle and pigs. He could grow anything and did. At harvest time, you could expect loads of corn, fruits and vegetables that he shared with friends and family. He also donated to local food banks. Every year he would grow giant pumpkins for all his grandkids to come and pick for Halloween.

Bob is survived by his wife Ina Lindsay, daughter Barb Jean, son Bryan, step daughter Kris Smith and her husband PJ, stepson and wife Doug and Laurie Wilson, and David and Susan Wilson, along with grandchildren in order of age, Kristin, Daniel, Derac, Denny, Jessica, Sam, Megan, Olivia and Sophia, and 13 great-grandchildren.

There was a graveside celebration of life at Northwood Park Cemetery, 16407 NE 15th Ave., Ridgefield, Wash. 98642.
