Traci Sue (Walck) Smith, 55, peacefully passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2021 at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.
Born on Dec. 20, 1965 to Gloria and Richard Walck, Traci was a graduate of Battle Ground High School and longtime resident of Southwest Washington.
After attending college at Texas A&M, Traci returned home and began working as a dispatcher, a profession she continued throughout her career. Traci always had a love for animals and loved her two dogs, Jonas and Hoosier. She also enjoyed days at the racetrack supporting longtime companion, Craig Loomis and his #01 street stock car.
She will be remembered most for her smile and friendly personality. Traci’s smile could light up a room and her joyful energy was infectious. She made a friend with nearly everyone she met.
She is survived by two daughters, Dallas Smith, 28, and Savannah Smith, 23, who were her greatest joy, along with, sister, Carri Kockritz; mother, Gloria Walck; and grandmother, Helen "Vicki" Cresap. A celebration of life for friends and family will be held in the coming weeks.
