On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Wilbur “Andy” Andrus, passed away at the age of 84. Andy was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Opelousa, Louisiana. He grew up in a large family, working farms, hunting and fishing.

A jack-of-all-trades, Andy was a U.S. Navy veteran, a cowboy, a log truck and long haul driver. After retiring from his successful career in the trucking industry, he continued working hard. He especially loved his horses and had fun cutting and working hay fields around Hockinson and Venersborg, Washington. He was the kind of person that would drop everything to lend a helping hand. He loved hosting family gatherings, Christmas parties, warm summer barbecues, horse and hay rides with his great-grandkids, apple and plum picking, and hikes around the beautiful hay field.

Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene. He is survived by his children, Cindy Andrus, Rhonda and Curt Snyder, and many grandkids and great-grandkids.

Andy will be interred at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, Washington.
