It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of our beloved Thomas “Tom” James Cox at the age of 71.
Tom passed peacefully at his family home on the Lewis River in Battle Ground surrounded by loved ones early on Valentine's Day.
Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; his sons, Rob and his husband, Bill; his sister, Evelyn; and his two cherished grandchildren, Robert and Parker.
Tom's presence was a source of wisdom and kindness to those around him. He leaves behind countless memories, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
As we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Tom is now at peace with his twin sister, Sheila.
For those that knew him, we invite you to join us from noon to 3 p.m. March 29 at the Prairie Tavern where we will raise a glass and toast the man who was so dear to us.
