Letter to the editor: Baker has qualities school board needs

I met Amber Baker when she was facilitating some group meetings. I was impressed with her ability to keep folks on track while making sure everyone was heard. She made a point to give time and attention to everyone in the room. The result was that the group came up with a superior solution to the issue it was considering, and everyone supported it.

I have also observed Amber running her business, a small farm in Ridgefield. I cannot imagine it’s easy making a profit selling vegetables, yet she manages to make a success of it. It takes skill to manage workers, schedules, finances and the weather to grow crops year after year.

I believe Amber has the right qualities to work successfully on our school board for the students and citizens of Ridgefield. I am voting for her and I hope you will too.
