As a single mother and a small business owner, I know how hard it is to be a working parent in 2022. Thanks to an overwhelming lack of affordable child care options, far too many of us have struggled to find care for our children so we can maintain our jobs.
I’ve walked the tightrope of having my young son by my side while working to meet my clients’ demands. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez has, too. She understands the importance of bringing affordable child care options to Washington, and for that and many other reasons, I’m excited to vote for her this November.
