Ridgefield has a bond on next month’s ballot. As a community we have grown exponentially fast in recent years. With so much growth comes the need for additional schools. Our only way to get those buildings is to approve a bond. The district can collect impact fees from developers but that can only legally account for a small percentage of a build. The state gives funds toward a new building only if we run a bond. We have the second lowest rate for schools in the county. Please join me in continuing to make Ridgefield a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
