Vote for Sue Marshall for Clark Council District 5. Sue listens to people and will best represent us on the council.
She has a deep understanding of our issues and knows how county government works.
On the other hand, Don’s questionable appointment to the Environmental Services department all those years ago was nepotism at its worst. It so upset the community that the Clark County Charter was passed to separate the policy-making council from county operations.
Don has said he would roll back the charter, letting him meddle in the day-to-day operations of the county. Imagine having to suck up to a councilor to get a permit approved, for example. Imagine councilors being able to play favorites with who gets served when. We can’t afford to let Don get his hooks into more of the county’s dollars.
Sue will honestly work for us, her constituents, not whoever can best pay to play.
