Letter to the editor: We must unite to hold those accountable for the insurrection

Posted

Our democracy is precious and fragile. It only survives and thrives through our civic engagement. The Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at our U.S. capitol was an egregious assault on this democracy. The event was planned by our former president in a deliberate attempt to overturn the legitimate election of Joe Biden. And, the Jan. 6 Select Committee hearings this month are reinforcing that fact with solid evidence. We must unite across the political spectrum to preserve and strengthen our democracy by holding accountable those who participated in this insurrection. We must also elect public officials who pledge to advocate voting rights for all Americans.

Even media knows Schiffty Schiff and the Jan. 6 committee have nothing.

It's another Mueller Investigation nothingburger, this time complete with abject 2022 electioneering.

Nobody cares to watch Pelosi's pole dance to affect polls.
