The Lewis River Rotary Club in Battle Ground will once again offer $22,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the North Clark County area.

During the club’s 30 years of existence, “providing scholarships has been a major focus of service to the community,” stated a news release.

In all, Lewis River Rotary has awarded more than $300,000 to students from multiple high schools. Scholarships are for both college-bound and vocational and trade school higher education.

To apply, the student must be a 2023 high school graduate who lives within the boundaries of the Battle Ground or Hockinson school districts, or they can be a 2023 graduate of one of the following high schools: Battle Ground, Prairie, CAM Academy, CASEE, Summit View, Hockinson, Firm Foundation, River Homelink, Seton Catholic, Columbia Adventist or home school.

Further information and the online application link can be found on the club’s website at www.lewisriverrotary.org.  The application link is also available from each of the school’s career counseling offices.

The application deadline is March 10, according to the release. Applications must be received or postmarked by that date to be eligible for consideration.
