There were 20 different blooming flowers native to the Pacific Northwest in this Clark County backyard habitat on Tuesday, May 13.
The flora endemic to the Pacific Northwest in the habitat ranges from the rainforest coasts of British Columbia and southeast Alaska south to northern California and even the desert reaches of Oregon and Washington. Different light conditions promote a wide variety of habitat possibilities as well as different watering frequencies in order to create a habitat of broad biodiversity.
As the beloved Camas lily blooms fade away, native iris species, rhododendron, strawberries and a lot more in both sunnier, drier patches and wetter, shadier conditions began to bloom the second week of May.
