One-day trail closures to impact three county parks

Access to trails and recreation facilities at three county regional parks will be restricted this month to allow for bridge inspections, which require one-day closures.

A news release from the county stated the Moulton Falls Bridge on the trail connecting Moulton Falls Regional Park to the Hantwick Road Trailhead will be closed for inspection on Wednesday, March 1.

Then, on Thursday, March 2, the bridge between the parking lot and Klineline Pond at Salmon Creek Regional Park will be closed for inspection. There will be no access to Klineline Pond on that day, stated the release.

On Tuesday, March 28, a bridge in Lacamas Regional Park between Round Lake and the trailhead near Woodburn Elementary School will be closed for inspection.

Inspections and closures are weather-dependent, stated the release. Residents are encouraged to check clark.wa.gov/public-works to confirm closure dates before visiting the three parks.

To receive information about road and park projects, closures, opportunities for community input, and more, residents can follow Clark County Public Works on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. They can also view information on Nextdoor.
