Two men face assault charges after a domestic violence incident led to one of the two being shot in the leg, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 19, sheriff’s deputies responded in the 13700 block of Northeast 72nd Avenue to a call about a shooting. Upon arrival, the deputies learned John Little, 47, had been shot in the leg and left in a vehicle which was stopped nearby the residence deputies responded to.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Majors Crimes Unit responded to investigate and learned Little was shot by Scott Green, 29, during a domestic violence incident where a female was assaulted. The female victim suffered injuries from a physical assault, but was not shot, the sheriff’s office reported.

Little was transported to a local hospital, was released and then booked for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, for the assault of the female, according to the sheriff’s office. Green was arrested for first-degree assault for shooting Little.
