Reservations now open for picnic areas in Clark County

Clark County Public Works will open picnic shelter reservations for the rest of the 2021 season and most of the 2022 season. 

After a halt in reservations during the summer of 2020, people can now book picnic shelters from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30, according to a news release. Those interested can also make reservations for events held between May 1 and Sept. 30, 2022.

People can expect prices to range from $50 to $150 each day, depending on the size, location and amenities, stated the release. 



To book a picnic area up to 12 months in advance, visit the Clark County Public Works’ online reservation system at apm.activecommunities.com/clarkcountyparks or call 564-397-2285. In-person bookings are not permitted, stated the release.

The website also offers annual parking passes for purchase.

Reservations are allowed at Captain William Clark Regional Park at Cottonwood Beach, Fairgrounds Community Park, Felida Community Park, Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park, Hazel Dell Community Park, Hockinson Meadows Community Park, Lewisville Regional Park, Orchards Community Park, Pacific Community Park, Salmon Creek Regional Park/Klineline Pond and Vancouver Lake Regional Park.
