The Ridgefield High School Knowledge Bowl team came in fourth place at the National Knowledge Bowl competition on Saturday, April 22.
The team entered the virtual competition as the reigning national champions.
The team is led by captain Adam Ford, and includes Emi Newell, Stuart Swingruber, Asher Anderson and James Haddix.
Earlier this year, the team secured its second 2A state championship win on Saturday, March 11.
Last year, the team was crowned the national champions after a come-from-behind victory.
