River HomeLink (RHL) invites the community to a 30th anniversary celebration from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m, Tuesday, Jan. 30. Attendees can socialize with current and former teachers and students, meet with longtime administrators and view memorabilia for the anniversary.
Started as a one-day-a-week tech and lab enrichment for homeschool families in the district, River HomeLink now serves over 1,000 students and offers a variety of electives and enrichment opportunities, according to a school news release. The school’s online component recently separated into Battle Ground Virtual Academy.
“There has always been a focus on standards-based learning and that has led to innovation and flexibility that our students and families appreciate,” said RHL Principal Matt Kesler in the release.
Registration is not required to attend. River HomeLink is located at 610 SW Eaton Blvd., Battle Ground. For more information, visit riv.battlegroundps.org.
