The Rocksolid Community Teen Center will bring back its “Teen Takeover” event for youth in North Clark County from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 19.
The Hollywood-themed event, which will be held at Chief Umtuch Middle School in Battle Ground, provides a safe, fun and supervised event for kids in fifth through 12th grades.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online at rocksolid-teen.com. They cost $5. The event is not sponsored or endorsed by any school district in Clark County.
“Teen Takeovers give our community of youth a chance to be themselves in a safe and supervised atmosphere,” Marcy Sprecher, the executive director of Rocksolid, stated in a news release. “Last fall we expected 200 teens and 400 showed up at the door. The need for interaction is all kids want.”
