Students may now apply for Vancouver Rotary’s annual scholarship. The Vancouver Rotary provides an average of $4,000 for tuition and educational expenses per awarded student, a press release by the Community Foundation of Southwest Washington stated.

High school seniors, college students and returning adult learners from the La Center School District, Vancouver Public School District and those enrolled at Clark College or Washington State University Vancouver are eligible to apply. Applicants must plan to attend a college, university or vocational school in Washington or Oregon, the press release stated.

“The Rotary Club of Vancouver is excited to begin another year of donating college scholarships to deserving students,” club secretary Bruce Ziegman said in the press release. “To date, our club has contributed over $2 million and will again award more than $100,000 this year to help develop future leaders.”

Applications may be submitted until Saturday, Feb. 11, through the Community Foundation of Southwest Washington’s website. Application requirements and an eligibility questionnaire are available at cfsww.org/scholarships-overview.
