WSP looks for witnesses to fatal hit-and-run collision in Clark County

The Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses to a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian collision that occurred on Sept. 30 on southbound Interstate 205 in Clark County, just south of the state Route 500 overpass.

A news release stated a vehicle struck a pedestrian and did not stop. The male pedestrian, who was wearing dark clothing and a black ball cap, sustained a fatal head injury as a result of the collision, stated the release. 



Law enforcement is asking anyone who was traveling through the area between 8:30 and 9 p.m. on Sept. 30 and who has dash-cam video to reach out. They should contact Detective Michael Huhta at 360-449-7943 or email michael.huhta@wsp.wa.gov.

The incident took place just before 8:50 p.m. on Sept. 30.
