Friday, Aug. 4:
Judging for horses, beekeeping, llama/alpaca, wool, floriculture, goats, pygmy goats, table setting and cats will take place throughout Friday. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the east wing of E-Barn FFA, demonstrations will take place. For poultry, a knowledge test, dress-up contest and a rooster-crowing contest will take place from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m. in the small animal barn.
Saturday, Aug. 5:
Judging for poultry, rabbits, pigeons, pygmy goats, service dogs and select categories of judging for certain animals will take place throughout Saturday. Sheep judging of featured breeds will also occur. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the 4-H Cloverbud presentation is slated for Exhibit Hall A. At 1 p.m., a 4-H robotics demonstration will take place at South Hall 3. From 2 p.m.-5 p.m., a demonstration of 4-H in action will occur at a varying location. From 3:15 p.m.-6:30 p.m., a 4-H stage show of performing arts will take place at the kids park.
Sunday, Aug. 6:
Llamas will steal the morning show on Sunday. Starting at 9 a.m., llama-driving will lead to an obstacle course, string-a-long, public relations and a special trick. Kitchen activities will take place in Exhibition Hall A from noon-8 p.m. From 3 p.m.-6 p.m. cats will take center stage at South Hall 3 with their grooming contest, story-telling contest, demonstrations, agility and, lastly, their awards ceremony.
Monday, Aug. 7:
Goats will be the main attraction with activities in pack goat, day trip goat and fiber goat divisions from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Goat Arena. Dogs will arrive and be benched between 9:30 a.m.-10 a.m. in South Hall 3. The Poultry Bowl will occur at 1 p.m. in the Small Animal Barn.
Tuesday, Aug. 8:
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Horse Arena, senior performances will be taking place. Dog-obedience judging is slated for 9:30 a.m. in South Hall 3. At 10 a.m., 4-H barbecue judging will take place between East and Center. Dog fitting and showing will occur at 7 p.m. in South Hall 3.
Wednesday, Aug. 9:
Many new animals will be taking their place in the morning, including beef cattle, hogs and swine, dairy goats and others. In the Horse Arena from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., intermediate performance will take place. From 6 p.m.-8 p.m. livestock judging will occur at the sale ring.
Thursday, Aug. 10:
Beef cattle and finished lamb judging will occur in their respective areas. At noon, FFA dairy judging is scheduled at the beef and dairy show ring. At 7 p.m., the 4-H and Grange Lad and Lassie sheep lead will take place at the Sheep Show Ring.
Friday, Aug. 11:
The horse play day will take place at 10 a.m. in the Horse Arena. Swine and sheep judging will take place in their respective areas at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m., the 4-H garden vegetables ID contest is scheduled at Exhibition Hall A. The heifer replacement sale will occur at 12 p.m. in the Dairy Show Ring. At 7 p.m. in the Horse Arena open class, Jackpot Barrel races will take place.
Saturday, Aug. 12:
Open class horse drill team competition practice will take place from 9 a.m. until noon in the Horse Arena. At 10:30 a.m., dog agility judging will take place at South Hall 3. The drill team competition will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Horse Arena.
Sunday, Aug. 13:
At 9 a.m., the large-animal Round Robin Showmanship will occur at the Dairy/Beef Show Ring. At 10:30 a.m., the dog grand championship show will take place at South Hall 3. Dog grand championship awards will take place at 6 p.m. After 6 p.m. all animals will be released.
