The City of Ridgefield and City of Battle Ground’s finance departments recently received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).
This is the 10th consecutive year the City of Ridgefield has earned the award, a news release by the City of Ridgefield stated.
“For 10 consecutive years, this award has highlighted Ridgefield’s dedication to transparency and accountability. This achievement underscores our ongoing commitment to fostering economic stability and ensuring our city is prepared to meet the evolving needs of our community,” City Manager Steve Stuart said in the news release.
The City of Battle Ground has received the award every year since 2002.
“This award exemplifies Battle Ground’s commitment to ensuring long-term stability and financial resiliency for our community,” City Manager Kris Swanson said in a release.
